Angel Fire, NM . .. .A Surprising Reality Adventure 

     Your adventure to the Angel Fire/Taos area begins when you arrive via deluxe motor coach for an early check-in to your awesome condominium at the base of the beautiful Angel Fire Ski Resort. You'll get checked in and comfortable and then head out for a little or A LOT of your first mountain adventure. Professional\, high quality mountain bikes & safety gear await your group. Seasonal lift availability for “Top of the Mountain bike runs plus many safe & easy “catwalk trails” and grassy slopes are at your beckon call. Share your mountain biking experiences with classmates at the welcome BBQ and dance at the Mountain Sports Plaza. Outdoor bonfire, karaoke and music and even make your own s'mores to top off your first evening on our #1 selling 3 day 2 night program.

     Each 2 bedroom/2 bath condominium is designed to comfortably sleep 6 students. These condos feature full living rooms w/fireplaces, full kitchens and awesome mountain side views. After an early hearty breakfast at the Mountain Sports Plaza the class will depart for the other side of the mountain; Taos and its beautiful Rio Grande River Valley. We will arrive at approximately 8:45am and get fitted up with our safety equipment for a white water experience on the crystal clear upper Rio Grande River. After rafting we'll head back to Taos for a “Mexican Fiesta “ Grande Lunch including either mariachis or troubadours performing for your group including an unbelievable dining experience with all the courses from chips & salsa to caramel covered “flan”. After lunch we proceed for a fun and educational event at the Taos Pueblo Indian Dwellings. A National Park Tour with organized professional guides will be provided for the dwellings themselves. Many shows, exhibits, native dance performers, etc will be part of your Taos Dwelling Experience.

     Night 2 will be again, around the campfire --- our group will have the opportunity to individually go horseback riding (1 hour and 15 minutes) or pile on the hay rack to the campfire and enjoy a game of western horse shoes or a loosely organized cowboy roping competition.. A unique “Cowboy” Western Style Meal will be served followed by a traditional cowboy poet for your entertainment. After the bonfire we'll return to the condominiums for night 2 of our stay.

     On Day 3 relax a little later with a mid-morning late breakfast/brunch. There will be time to swim, hike, play tennis, mini golf, or even a high altitude 9-hole executive golf (extra fee) etc. We will have a group coordinator from the resort community along with a shuttle van to get to a variety of off-site activities as students choose what they want to participate in. A late check-out has been arranged and typically a 1:30 departure is combined with a little “Red River” shopping on the motor coach ride back home.
